Blame the opponents

Omaha World Herald – PUBLIC PULSE – May 13, 2008

In response to a letter by David Gaines, who said that everyone who voted for President Bush in the past two elections should stay at home this time, he must believe that if people don’t believe what he believes, they don’t count.

In 2000, Al Gore was chosen by Democrats to be their president. He was vice president for President Bill Clinton at the time when the World Trade Center and the USS Cole were bombed. Gore has since been espousing his global warming theories.

In 2004, John F. Kerry was the Democratic nominee for president. At that time, he had been in the Senate for 21 years with no major legislation to his credit.

Now, the Democrats have a candidate who has been a state legislator for a few years and a U.S. senator for two years without any major accomplishments in government.

Instead of blaming people who voted for Bush, maybe we should put blame where it is due…on the people who put up the Democratic nominees for president.
