Another “bleeding-heart” story by CINDY GONZALEZ, World-Herald Staff Writer, with the hispanic sounding name. Openly admits that there are about 60,000 illegal Mexican aliens (not Central and So. Americans) just in Nebraska and Iowa who have been in the U.S. since 1990. Tries to get sympathy for (Mexican) illegal aliens by telling story of one 87 yr. old Mexican-American service man who served his country honorably and was awarded citizenship for this effort.
That was then, this is now. It also shouldn’t take 50 + years to assimilate. The immigration laws apply equally to anyone wanting to emigrate from ANY country. Why do Mexicans and Mexican-Americans think they deserves special attention? We need to let people in from OTHER countries. Mexico has sent enough. Enough is enough. Do it LEGALLY or ”get the hell out!
